(Artistic Director) has been with Commedia for fifteen years. She considers Commedia to be a big family, and each member enhances the talents of the others. Commedia encourages her pursuits as a poet, artist, and sculptor. Ashley has provided the backdrops, masks, and props for at least ten of her fifteen years.
Ashley also enjoys horseback riding and hiking.
Previous roles include Irene in Sherlock Holmes, Hamlet in the Ghosts, and Lane in The Importance of Being Earnest.
(Director) founded Commedia del Arte over twenty years ago. She writes or adapts all of the troupe’s scripts, tailoring them to the troupe’s specific members or abilities. Shari leads an acting class, and she also teaches Spanish, dancing, and fencing. She choreographs all of the troupe’s fight scenes.
Her most recent roles include Aunt Abby in Arsenic and Old Lace, the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, the title character in Sherlock Holmes, and Algie in The Importance of Being Earnest.
